Book Review #1 Made inJapa by Akio Morita
India’s Broken Tryst by tavleen Singh the last review which I wrote on this blog, was a too serious book that I had picked. I realised when I had completed reading it. So this time when I was in library I had decided that I would pick a fiction by my favourite author Sidney Sheldon. Its been a long since I read his book, while I was searching through the shelves of library , “Made In Japan ” a book about entrepreneurship caught my attension and at that moment i decided to read this book. This book is written by Akio Morita co-founder and former chairman of SONY. He has shared his experiences through this book, coming from a small business family he tells his journey when he was a naval officier during world war II and how his interest in research and learning took him to become the co-founder of SONY.I found this book very interesting and giving. Emergance of small companies in Japan Post war, which later became huge companies and had major impact on world economy. The relationship between Japan and America and Sony taking over American markets is the main idea of the book. Those who aspire to be an employer, it is a must read book for them. This books tells you about Japan between 16th century to 20th century. In short this book is ‘behind the scenes ‘ of Japan.
